As part of the latest updates to my website, as seen in the ”sneak peek” blog, I will be moving the Patron rewards options directly to the website. There are lots of advantages to this but one of the key benefits will be the functionality of being able to communicate with me directly through a unique member's area. You will hear about all news and updates before everyone else and will even be able to contribute to the development and growth of my creative practice.
Launching now you will be able to choose from one of the four subscription options available:
With this new patron system in mind, I will also be updating how I release new paintings. From today onwards I will set a release date where the new paintings for the month will be published to the blog and added to the shop, of course, this will be announced first to the members. A few days later all mailing list subscribers will get the update as well as information being published on social media platforms. Something I have learned about my process is that I go through creative periods throughout the year, but get so excited to show you all what I have been working on I lose track of what I have shown you and what I haven’t. I am hoping that this new upload schedule will help me to keep focused and find a new working rhythm.
So, "members" will include anyone who has registered as a member on the site. You should be invited to do this if you purchase from my shop, become a patron, or book a meeting. I will be able to reward specific members with badges that will open up the "early release" pages. If you would like to be a member, sign up via the member's page on the footer, next to the mailing list option.
You may have spotted that some of the physical rewards have an opt-in/out option. These monthly rewards can be very useful and mean that you get a nice surprise each month in the post. However, if you find you have a collection building out of control always feel free to message and let me know that you need to take a break, temporarily or from the beginning if you’d prefer not to get things in the post, you can always change your mind.
Of course, with things slowly opening up again, I am looking to explore more public events as well as develop my online presence. Information and invitations will continue to go to all mailing list and members subscribers at the same time.
