About me and places to follow me

Thank you for being interested in me and the work that I do. I have collected together work from my recent projects and live to hear responses. If you would like to stay more up to date I post to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter regularly and can be contacted there or through the contact forms on my website.

I also work in graphic design, exhibition curation and technical support, plus social media tutoring. If you are interested in these services I would be happy to chat with you!

My creative style has really come together in the last few years but I have spent my whole life working, training and absorbing things around me to get to this point. I have many fond memories of going to my Grandad's studio in Ditchling and being able to draw and paint on big easels. This open style of teaching made me feel that I could be an artist despite my young age and lack of training, and gave me the drive to know the career I wanted to pursue. Seeing this passion my family did what they could to encourage it and I was lucky that my school had a good arts program, both taking me on regular trips to art galleries and performances. I was able to achieve my "Art, Design & Media Foundation Diploma" from Northbrook College (now Brighton Met) and then my "BA Fine Art" 2:1 from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

I moved to Stroud with my partner in 2018 and have been lucky enough to work with some of the local galleries and museums, including having two social shows and having work shown in group exhibitions. Images and videos tours of these exhibitions are available to view on my website.

Materials and Methods

I always aim to use high-quality materials so that buyers are receiving the best that I can offer. I use Golden acrylic paints, which are high-quality pigments that are extremely lightfast so that you can enjoy the vibrancy of the colours for years to come. I have recently begun building my own canvases so that I can have more control of the size that I wish to work with, and this way I know that each canvas has been stretched and primed to a high quality. When purchasing a painting I can guarantee life long care for the piece, especially when looking for frame options or if there is any damage to the piece. If a piece cannot be repaired this is very unfortunate, I cannot replace the painting, I encourage people to take care when moving, framing or hanging the paintings.

Limited edition prints are produced by The Print Space in London using Hahnemühle German Etching paper and Giclee printing technique. It produces a fantastic print that looks and feels like an original painting. This does make them a very special investment which is why I make sure that they are limited edition so they do not lose their value.

Any cards or prints that are not limited edition are printed by Print Work in Leeds. They are a fantastic company that uses recycled paper and is committed to carbon-neutral deliveries.

I will soon be adding more products to my Etsy shop, these are currently being printed by Artist Gifts Prints. I had previously used them for mugs and other products before and can say that the quality of the print is superb, the mugs especially have not lost their colours. I asked some of my family to test them out and they have survived the dishwasher!

If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask me, it will be lovely to chat with you.
